This 29^th March 2023, Minister of Gender and Family Promotion Prof. Bayisenge Jeannette together with the Executive Secretary Kamanzi Jackline together with the visited women in Kigoma Sector, Huye district to support 50 vulnerable families with over 1200 iron rooftops, 300 saving stoves, and mattress to reduce environmental obstacles and empower them to live in more secure homesteads. This was a collaborative effort with Action Aidhat will assist in achieving sustainable development goals and will improve the lives of these families. This activity was meant to honor a promise promised during the celebration of International Rural Women’s Day, and a commitment that will be an essential part of building trust and strengthening partnerships with communities, addressing the challenges faced by vulnerable communities.
