National Women's Council General Assembly 2022
Today, Rwanda has done a lot towards gender equality and women empowerment but there are still some challenges to be addressed in the society. The drive, commitment and innovation women is key to achieving a better community. In this framework, the General Assembly (GA) has been a platform for forward-thinking women determined to create a better future and brings women leaders to learn, engage, and take action. The GA will equip them with new knowledge, skills, and networks needed to coordinate and implement towards transformation. As per General Assembly, NWC leaders are encouraged to elaborate concrete actions and demonstrate commitments to accelerate the realization of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls. In this regard, the General Assembly will draw attention to critical issues facing women according to the 3 pillars (economic, social and governance) and identify a range of strategies that can be successfully deployed for measurable progress.
